I love all things vintage. I think I get it from my mom. She has always loved the “rustic” look.
But ironically it was my dad who spotted these old shutters and door tucked away in the back of a vintage furniture store in Venice. (It is the same store where I got my vintage picnic table.) And so I present to you: my vintage headboard!
And ironically the colors matched this bedding I already had perfectly. Maybe a little too perfectly…

Regardless, I like that they make for a unique and interesting headboard, and one that adds a pop of color to the overwhelming amount of white walls in my new place!
