So, you’re planning your wedding and finding it to be quite the non-budget friendly endeavor. Sound about right?
Looking back on our wedding, there were so many expenses on things we would never use again. However, there were quite a few signs we had made that I kept in our condo for the 2.5 years we lived there. {We are still getting settled into our new house and have pretty much nothing on the walls yet, but I can’t wait to get some of these signs back up!}
Here are 5 wedding signs you’ll actually use in your home, so order away without the guilt of feeling as if you’ll never use them again!
1.
This large wooden sign was on our welcome table. We placed it on the wall in the entry way of our condo. I love the daily reminder of the gift that God has given us in each other.
2.
This is one of my favorite verses. I love that it not only signifies our love for each other as bride and groom/husband and wife, but it also reminds me of loving others (family, friends, community) well, too! We placed this one above my oils/makeup vanity in our bedroom — a great reminder to live out God’s love the best that we can.
3.
This quote is a lyric from one of our favorite songs by one of our favorite artists, Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors. We appropriately placed it at the bar at our wedding, and then on top of our wine rack in the kitchen of our home.
4.
These Mr. & Mrs. signs were some of my faves! Unfortunately the flowers I wanted placed with them never made it there. Such is the wedding day — it’s never perfect, but it’s always beautiful and special! (Sort of like marriage!) These we placed on the shelves in our living room.
5.
And finally, the restroom sign! One that’s so necessary! (Well, I suppose depending on the venue.) We hung this one — where else? — on our master bathroom. (Our photographers didn’t get a pic of this one at the wedding, and I don’t blame them! Not really one you care to remember from your big day, but cute enough to put in your bathroom at home!)
All signs were hand-created by the beautiful Paige from Hue Creative.
Wedding photos were taken by Cameron + Tracey Leung. House photos were taken by Sarah Foss with Apple Rose Photography!
Happy wedding planning to all you beauties. Remember: it’s a stressful time, but try to enjoy it. It flies by, and it is such a sweet season!
