We wait for her. Much like I waited for him. In this very spot where he made a promise to me four years ago, we stand with the promise of this pregnancy.⠀
Pregnancy is so much like engagement. We await the fulfillment of a promise given. And though the waiting isn’t easy, our God is with us in it.⠀
He’s a good God who gives good promises. He’s a good Father who gives His children good gifts. He’s a glorious Savior who blesses those who wait.⠀
If you are waiting for something today—a boyfriend, proposal, spouse; a child, a job, or healing—I pray you would join me in fixing your eyes on the Giver of that which you are waiting. For its here we find the peace and strength we need for each day we wait.⠀
Would we remember that this day of waiting is just a page in our story, and that the fulfillment to come will be all the more glorious because of our waiting.⠀⠀⠀⠀
