One of my go-to breakfasts is a smoothie. I make them a million different ways. Only recently did I discover the goodness that is adding Young Living Cinnamon Bark essential oil to them!

I’ve always added cinnamon to my smoothies as it helps regulate blood sugar. But I have to say one drop of this oil tastes waaay better than a teaspoon of cinnamon!

Just because it’s chilly outside doesn’t mean a smoothie can’t be a wonderful breakfast. I mean… what else are puffy jackets for?!

Without further ado, here’s the recipe for my…

pumpkin spice smoothie

what you’ll need:

  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 cup. steamed + frozen organic cauliflower
  • 3/4 c. frozen papaya
  • 1/4 c. Harmless Harvest raw coconut water
  • 2 organic dates
  • 2 scoops collagen peptides {protein powder}
  • 2 heaping T. organic raw cacao powder
  • 1/2 T. organic maca root powder
  • 1 T. ground flaxseeds
  • 1/2 T. flaxseed oil
  • 1 T. organic almond butter
  • 1/2 c. organic canned pumpkin puree {*not pumpkin pie; just pumpkin — this can be tricky because the cans look very similar!}
  • 1 drop Young Living cinnamon bark essential oil**

blend it up.

drink it up.

live it up.
