crockpot lemon chicken

I love crockpot dishes. They do all the work for you! And they just make good plain cozy comfort food for this chilly winter weather!

The hubs and I had a bunch of leftover veggies and just needed a meat dish for dinner, so I set a couple of frozen chicken breasts out to thaw when I woke up, put them in the crockpot around noon, and by 7pm dinner was served!

This recipe calls for Young Living’s lemon essential oil. {You can get some here.} What I love about cooking with essential oils is you get all of the flavor with none of the mess/prep/hassle/annoyance!

Without further ado…

crockpot lemon chicken

  • organic chicken breasts
  • olive oil
  • lemon essential oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic powder
  • thyme {or other dried herb of your choice}

  • drizzle olive oil on bottom of crockpot
  • place chicken breasts in crockpot
  • drizzle olive oil on top
  • add 1-2 drops lemon essential oil to each chicken breast
  • sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder + thyme {or other herb}
  • cook on low for 6-7 hours until cooked through/golden brown

Viola! Dinner is served!
