banana bread bliss smoothie

I have to say: this may be one of the most delicious smoothie concoctions I have created… and I’ve created a lot. I call it the:

banana bread bliss smoothie

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 c. ice
  • 2 handfuls organic frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1 scoop Thorne Research Chocolate Protein Powder
  • 1 T. maca root powder
  • 1 T. raw organic cacao powder
  • 1 t. cinnamon
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 1 T. flaxseeds
  • 1 T. Artisana Organics coconut butter
  • 1 T. raw almond butter
  • 1 c. frozen chard {green, red, or rainbow}
  • 1/2 c. organic unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 t. Buried Treasure liquid vitamin D3
  • toppers: cacao nibs + organic toasted coconut strips

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • combine all ingredients besides toppers in Vitamix {or blender} – though I will say, I like my smoothies really thick and the Vitamix stick that helps you stir while blending is key!
  • blend well
  • pour into a glass/mason jar {I keep a few in the freezer so my smoothie stays extra frozen while I enjoy it!}
  • top with toppers
  • be filled with healthy foods that fill you with energy and joy :)
