how to make a magnesium bath

lavender for magnesium bath

Many people have a deficiency in magnesium and don’t even know it. Magnesium affects so many things from sleep to hormone levels to mood and more!

Taking a magnesium supplement can surely be a great way to get some more magnesium in your system, but an even better way? Magnesium baths!

The combination of the magnesium from epsom salt, the baking soda, and essential oils is a great recipe for quick and efficient magnesium absorption {and not to mention it’s just plain delightful!}

So here’s…

how to make a magnesium bath

1. Begin to draw the water
2. Add 1/4 c. baking soda
3. Add 1 c. epsom salt
4. Add 15-20 drops Young Living lavender essential oil
5. Enjoy!

It’s that easy!

I posted a quick “how to” tutorial titled “magnesium bath” on my Instagram homepage. You can check it out here!

A couple of “tips” for ya:

  • For easy access + a cute look? Store your epsom salt + baking soda in mason jars with lids right next to the tub! {see the background of my above photo!}
  • No need to measure out the salt + soda; simply grab 1 small handful of the baking soda + 4 small handfuls of the epsom salt. {That will equal about 1/4 c. and 1 c. respectively}.
  • You may use other Young Living oils in your bath, of course. Simply stick with mild ones. Any “minty” oils may not feel so great on your, well, you know where.

Be happy, be healthy, be oily.
